    Mikey Swailes says he has “really enjoyed the step up” to senior rugby this season with Hawick.

    The 18-year-old back-row forward is one of a number of youngsters to make the transition from Hawick Youth Rugby to Arnold Clark Premiership action, and he has certainly not looked out of place.
