    Craig Nichol rode Duke of Deception to a 7-1 win in the valuable £50,000 feature chase at Kelso races on Saturday.

    The eight-year-old made all and battled on gamely to score by half-a-length.

    “I got him into a nice rhythm,” said Nichol. “He’s in the form of his life and it was a career-best performance.”
