    Roadworks have begun in the Dovemount area, above, and will also include Wilton Hill for the rest of the month

    Motorists are facing a summer of gridlock amid a raft of resurfacing work, The Hawick Paper can reveal.

    The impending congestion is being compounded by the announcement of a series of roadworks around Dovemount/Wilton Hill which began this week and will continue throughout July.
