    George Stanger has joined Premiership side Kilmarnock. PICTURE: KILMARNOCK FC

    George Stanger is now a top-flight Scottish footballer – crossing the Ayrshire divide to sign for Premiership club Kilmarnock.

    The defender – son of Hawick rugby legend Tony – spent the last two seasons at Ayr United and has jumped ship to their fiercest rivals at Rugby Park.
