An estimated 500 people, including scores of children, flocked to Sunday’s fire station open day which has been hailed a “great success”.
As well as local firefighters, the four-hour event was also attended by representatives from the police, ambulance service, blood bikes, and the Borders Group of Advanced Motorcyclists.
