    Julie Sharrer plans to convert the 13th-century property into a house

    Moves to reinstate and alter the ruins of Cavers House have been approved by Scottish Borders Council’s planning and building standards committee, subject to a number of conditions being met.

    Two councillors objected to the proposal, while six gave it their support.
