Retaining Deanfield is crucial, say councillors

No assurances have been given that the planned closure of Deanfield Care Home will not go ahead, despite fresh pleas for the facility to remain open.

Last month, we reported that local ward councillor, Stuart Marshall, was urging for serious consideration to be given over the destined closure, highlighting the “immense pressure on the care system”.
