    The United Kingdom’s new head of state, King Charles, has a keen interest in the local knitwear industry, it was revealed this week.

    Malcolm Grant, formerly managing director of Scott & Charters when the then Prince of Wales officially opened the Burnfoot factory in 2019, told The Hawick Paper about his recollections of that special day.
