    Youngsters got a grounding in history at the site of the 16th-century Bedrule Castle

    Pupils from Hawick and Newcastleton joined more than 120 others from seven Borders primary and secondary schools to take part in workshops at the weekend exploring the site of 16th-century Bedrule Castle.
