    Taking tablets to learn about anti-slavery campaigner

    Drumlanrig school pupils marked the 175th anniversary of Frederick Douglass’ anti-slavery speech on Tuesday.

    Pupils from Drumlanrig school gathered at Myreslawgreen on Tuesday afternoon to mark the 175th anniversary of a famous anti-slavery speech delivered at that location by Frederick Douglass, himself a former enslaved person.
