    Mark Crane, from Spalding in Lincolnshire, the town’s 3,000th visitor, receives the customary tin of Hawick Balls from Welcome Hosts Ciara Johnston and Euan Welsh

    While Saturday and the Tour of Britain saw the last day of the Hawick Festival of  Cycling, it also brought an end to the season for the Welcome Hosts tourism initiative, run by Future Hawick, the local regeneration group.
