    Legion sets the benchmark with centenary presentation to town

    To mark the centenary of the Royal British Legion Scotland, a commemorative bench was unveiled at Trinity Gardens on Saturday morning.

    This was carried out by the Hawick branch’s oldest member, James Anderson, of Wilton Hill, a former president and chairman who has been part of the organisation for almost 68 years.
