    Pupils ‘should still go to school’

    Burnfoot parents are being urged to continue sending children to school amid a sharp drop in attendance.

    A high level of unauthorised absence following the town’s Covid-19 outbreak prompted community school head teacher Catriona Stewart to issue letters of reassurance and carry out an additional deep clean on Wednesday morning.
