    A local couple will celebrate their golden wedding tomorrow (Saturday). 

    Shona and Kenneth Morison, of Mellorshope, have stayed in Hawick since 1980, previously living in Duns and Eyemouth through work commitments.

    The milestone occasion will not, however, be marked as they had planned, with the Covid-19 travel restrictions meaning a cruise around Australia, and gatherings of immediate family at holiday lodges at Arisaig and extended family at the Mansfield House Hotel have all been cancelled.
