
Joiner Stephen Cranston’s bid to convert part of the former Buccleuch Hotel into a workshop could yet be approved, after his request for a review of the decision to knock back the plans was “continued”.
At Monday’s virtual meeting of Scottish Borders Council’s Local Review Body (LRB), Mr Cranston’s proposal was widely supported by members, and may get the green light over the next six weeks, subject to conditions being met and further information being received.
