    Park plans to remember town’s fallen

    Park memorials, a fitting tribute to those lost in First World War

    Wilton Lodge Park has been nominated for Centenary Fields status – a programme which aims to perpetually protect green spaces to honour the memory of those who lost their lives in the First World War.

    Led by Fields in Trust and the Royal British Legion, it was launched in 2014 to mark the centenary of the war.
